The Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter features a built-in PV Point, which offers a very cost-effective solution for implementing backup power functions at home. The Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus Inverter is the ideal hybrid inverter for households. Thanks to its many features, the three-phase device meets all requirements. The GEN24 Plus offers many features, including energy management functions, WLAN connectivity as standard, Ethernet connection, backup power options and easy integration with third-party components. Compatible with e.g. BYD energy storage and many other systems. Also suitable for own coding/application development thanks to local Modbus and Sunspec interfaces.
It will be possible to connect Fronius SYMO inverters to the Wolttinen Home Optimization service in spring 2026! The system intelligently utilizes, for example, the Spot price of electricity, intelligently manages car charging and can utilize battery capacity and the V2G feature when the car and charger support them (requires an OCPP 2.1 compatible V2G capable charger).
