Dyness Tower Pro 23.04 kWh + Solis S6-EH – powerful and safe energy storage package

The Dyness Tower Pro 23.04 kWh + Solis S6-EH hybrid system is a new generation solution for storing solar energy, optimizing electricity consumption, and improving energy independence.

The package combines a 23.04 kWh high-voltage Dyness Tower Pro TP23 LiFePO4 battery and a Solis S6-EH hybrid inverter. The large battery capacity, fast 1C energy transfer, intelligent energy management, and advanced safety features make this package an excellent solution for large detached houses, electric vehicle owners, or properties where the aim is to maximize the utilization of solar electricity.

23.04 kWh – a truly large energy storage

The Tower Pro TP23 is the largest single tower configuration in Dyness's Tower Pro series. Multiple towers can be connected in parallel.

The battery consists of six LiFePO4 battery modules with a total energy capacity of 23.04 kWh. The system's nominal voltage is 576 V, and the manufacturer's stated operating voltage range is approximately 504–648 V.

The large capacity allows solar energy to be stored during the day and utilized later for purposes such as:

  • evening and night electricity consumption
  • electric vehicle charging
  • heat pumps
  • domestic hot water heating
  • electric heating
  • peak load shaving
  • profiting from fluctuations in spot electricity prices.

New generation LiFePO4 battery

The Tower Pro uses LiFePO4 battery technology, which is particularly well-suited for stationary energy storage.

Advantages of LiFePO4 include good thermal stability, long service life, and a good safety profile. Dyness states at least 8,000 charging cycles for the Tower Pro in its current product information.

1C charging and discharging

One of the significant features of the Tower Pro is its 1C charging and discharging capacity.

This means the battery can transfer energy quickly, for example, when solar production fluctuates, electricity prices change rapidly, or household consumption temporarily increases. Dyness states a maximum 1C charging and discharging rate for the Tower Pro.

Safety – one of the package's most important features

In this package, safety has been designed on several different levels.

🔥 Integrated fire suppression

The Tower Pro has an integrated fire suppression system, which Dyness states activates in approximately 5 seconds. This is a significant safety addition compared to systems without a similar integrated solution for battery thermal or fire situations. (Dyness)

🛡️ IP55 protection

The battery's IP55 protection allows installation both indoors and outdoors, depending on the installation location and local installation requirements.

🌡️ Wide temperature range

The Tower Pro is designed to operate in demanding environmental conditions. The manufacturer states an operating range of -20…+55 °C for the system according to product information.

⚡ Multi-level battery protection

The battery protection monitors, among other things:

  • overcharge
  • deep discharge
  • overcurrent
  • overtemperature
  • short circuit situations.

The Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the operation of the cells and the battery and protects the system in fault situations.

Solis S6-EH – intelligent hybrid energy management

The Solis S6-EH serves as the central hub of the system. It integrates solar panels, the battery, household consumption, and the electricity grid into a single entity.

Energy can be directed, for example, as follows:

Solar panels → home → Dyness battery → home / electric vehicle

When solar panels produce more than the property consumes, excess energy can be stored in the battery.

When solar production decreases, energy can be drawn from the battery for use.

The goal is to use as much of the self-produced energy as possible.

Utilizing spot electricity

The 23.04 kWh battery also offers many opportunities for optimizing electricity prices.

The battery can be controlled, for example:

Cheap electricity → battery charges

Expensive electricity → battery discharges

In this way, the battery can serve as a home energy storage even when solar electricity is not available.

Combined with solar panels, the system can optimize both own production and the timing of electricity purchases.

Excellent solution for electric vehicle charging

The 23.04 kWh energy storage is particularly suitable for electric vehicle owners and properties with high electricity consumption.

Solar panels can charge the battery during the day, allowing the energy to be used later for electric vehicle charging or other household consumption.

This enables, for example, a situation where:

Solar panels → Dyness 23.04 kWh → electric vehicle

Instead of selling excess solar electricity to the grid at a low price, it can be stored and utilized later.

Smart monitoring and management

The Tower Pro supports real-time monitoring and remote management. According to Dyness, the system has an LED display, real-time monitoring, and the possibility for remote updates.

The system's operation can be monitored, for example, from the perspective of energy production, battery status, and consumption.

Easy modular design

The Tower Pro uses a stackable and automatically configurable design.

The TP23 configuration has six battery units, and the Tower Pro system can be expanded to include multiple towers, according to the manufacturer.

Modularity makes it easier to dimension the system for various needs.
