The IQ Battery 5P is Enphase’s most powerful grid-connected battery system to date, and it’s a complete system that can be easily expanded to include up to 16 batteries in the same installation. With a total usable capacity of 5.0 kWh per battery, it features six built-in microinverters and a continuous output of 3.84 kVA.

With its modular design that easily integrates with the Enphase Energy System, installers can quickly design the right-sized system to meet the needs of both new and existing solar customers.

Distributed architecture for mains power (AC230V)

IQ batteries utilize a distributed architecture for maximum reliability. Each backup battery contains multiple IQ microinverters that convert energy from DC to AC and back again for safe and reliable operation. So even if a battery fails, power continues and the lights stay on.

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) technology is simply safer. Our batteries use cobalt-free LFP chemistry, which is more efficient at high temperatures than other battery technologies and reduces the risk of fires caused by thermal stress.

Easy installation and maintenance IQ Batteries are now officially approved for installation in both single and three-phase third-party inverters.
