The Enphase IQ Gateway Metered is an integrated part of the Enphase Energy System, acting as a communications bridge between Enphase IQ rooftop microinverters and the Enphase app for remote control and monitoring.

IQ Gateway Metered communicates with IQ microinverters via standard AC power lines and with the Enphase app via cellular or wireless internet. IQ Gateway allows homeowners to manage utility grid management functions, monitor solar energy production, and track home energy consumption.

Please note that the package includes two 100 A current transformers, but in a 3-phase installation, a total of 6 (two for each phase) are required to monitor production and consumption.

Communication Kit 2 enables the IQ Gateway Metered to communicate with the IQ Battery 5P via wired control communication. It integrates with the Enphase Energy Systems Generation 3 system and is required for the IQ Battery 5P to operate on the grid.
