The Fronius Symo GEN24 inverter is the ideal core for photovoltaic systems. It combines several functions into one device, thus offering a flexible overall solution for demanding users.
The Fronius GEN24 includes a built-in PV Point, which provides a highly cost-effective solution for implementing backup power functions at home. When the Fronius GEN24 inverter is connected to a battery system, it enables energy self-sufficiency for electricity, heating, cooling, and electric mobility. This means that the separately purchased Fronius GEN24 Plus Full Backup provides a backup power solution capable of supplying even three-phase loads, such as heat pumps. In addition, the innovative Multi Flow technology allows the hybrid inverter to manage parallel energy flows in the system and maintain seamless operation even in backup power mode. Fronius has its own monthly optimization application that allows you to utilize batteries and Spot pricing.

Compatible with e.g., BYD energy storage and many other systems. Also suitable for custom coding/application development thanks to local Modbus and Sunspec interfaces.
Fronius SYMO inverters can be connected to the Wolttinen Home Optimization service in spring 2026! The system intelligently utilizes, for example, the Spot price of electricity, manages car charging intelligently, and can utilize battery capacity and V2G features when the car and charging device support them (requires an OCPP 2.1 compatible V2G capable charging device). It will also support various battery solutions and inverters.
