Tesla Load Balancer – intelligent, automatic charging tailored to your electricity consumption.
With Tesla's own load balancer, you get a fully automated solution that optimizes your Tesla's charging in real time based on your property's current electricity consumption. Dynamic load balancing ensures that charging occurs smoothly between the Tesla Wall Connector and other household electrical appliances – without overloading the main fuse.
Specifically designed for the Tesla Wall Connector (Generation 3), the load balancer is designed to work seamlessly with the Tesla Wall Connector (Generation 3). It continuously detects the available power and adjusts the charging current accordingly. This leads to safer charging, more efficient energy use, and less strain on your home's electrical system.
Easy installation without subscription or cloud service. All communication takes place via network cable (LAN) between the electrical panel and the Tesla charger. No cloud connection or app is needed – all control is local, providing fast response and high reliability. Installation is simple but needs to be done by a qualified electrician and requires no additional settings.
Advantages:
Compatible with Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3
Automatic adjustment of charging current based on the property's current electricity consumption
No app, no subscription - local control via network cable
Durable, reliable, and designed for professional installation
Dynamic Power Management adjusts the charging speed in real time based on the available power from the electrical panel. This means that the charging speed is always the fastest possible. At the same time, the feature ensures that the total power drawn from the panel is within safe limits.
Dynamic Power Management continuously monitors the available power from your electrical panel using a Tesla-approved power meter and adjusts the Wall Connector's charging speed based on your home's electricity usage. So, if your home consumes more electricity – for example, when the dryer and water heater are running – your vehicle will charge more slowly. If your home consumes less electricity – for example, at night – your vehicle will charge faster.
